Hey!
I am Jodie, and welcome to a Playful Healing Space.
I know that childhood can be full of big feelings, and sometimes, those feelings can feel too overwhelming for little ones to manage on their own (or us big ones too!)
That’s where play therapy comes in. Through the magic of play, children can explore their emotions, express themselves, and begin to heal—all in a way that feels natural and safe for them.
I’m a Certified Therapeutic Play Practitioner through Play Therapy UK (PTUK), trained to support children who might be struggling with anxiety, low confidence, loss, trauma, or just the ups and downs of growing up.
My training covered a mix of child psychology, neuroscience, and creative therapeutic techniques, like storytelling, art, sand play, clay, and music. But more than anything, it taught me how to create a space where children feel seen, heard, and accepted exactly as they are.
At A Playful Healing Space, my goal is to offer a warm, welcoming environment where children can work through their worries in a way that feels safe and playful.
Every child’s journey is different, and there’s no pressure to “fix” anything—just a space to explore, grow, and find their own way forward.
If you’d like to chat or learn more about how play therapy could help your child, I’d love to connect.
